A
guided Moose hunting trip in Maine is truly a "once in a lifetime" experience.
Moose are in plentiful supply throughout our region
of Maine, and we have the knowledge, expertise
and the equipment to get YOU to the Moose (and
your moose back to the truck). WE SPECIALIZE IN
HUNTING TROPHY MOOSE WITH SPREADS IN EXCESS OF
50-INCHES (see picture at right)!
Please
note that Moose hunting season and permitting
is restricted. The drawing for permits takes
place in late June.
COST: FULLY-GUIDED MOOSE
HUNTING: $2000.00 (plus $400.00 for subpermittee).
NOTE
1: Prices for hunts are per person
and with a 5 day stay including all meals and
lodging. A 50% deposit is required when
making reservations, and the remaining balance
is due 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits are
non-refundable, but you are welcome to choose
someone else to take your place. Personal checks
are welcome for deposits ONLY.
NOTE
2: We hunt in Wildlife Management Districts 8,13,14,17.
IMPORTANT: ALL HUNTERS MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING:
“Quiet” Rain gear
Weapon of choice
Ammunition
Appropriate game license
Game tag
Camera & film (for great memories!)
Compass (never go into the woods without one)
Warm clothing (evenings can get cool)
Rubber boots
Flashlight and knife
Padded cushion (during Bear over bait season)
Big game license from your home state (in order to purchase a Maine hunting license).
Cooler for meat
Two articles of “Hunter Orange” must be worn at all times during Deer season
(one of which MUST be a hat). During Moose season, you'll need a single article
of orange clothing (hat or vest)
Full camouflage suit with face mask (for Bear over bait trips)
